Former Lagos governor and head of your campaign finance team Babatunde Fashola was accused of squandering N78 million of government money to upgrade his personal website. The EFCC has ignored these corruption allegations, and you have given both promotions: the Ministry of Transport to Mr. Amaechi, and the Ministry of Power, Works, and Housing to Mr. Fashola.
Governors and the minimum wage
The Nigeria Governors Forum recently expressed worries that more states may not be able to pay workers salaries if the revenue of the country continues to be on the decline. The NGF, through its chairman, Governor Abdul’aziz Yari of Zamfara, said “the situation is no longer the same when we use to pay N18, 000 minimum wage when oil was 126 dollars; now oil price is 41 dollars.”
On board Dickson’s campaign train
I woke up last Friday morning knowing I would be spending the better part of the day in bed, binge-watching my favorite TV shows and generally taking it easy so I could recover fast from the exhaustion of traversing the length and breadth of Bayelsa State as part of the campaign train for the PDP gubernatorial candidate and incumbent governor of Bayelsa State, Henry Seriake Dickson.
We can fix this economy

Bayelsa guber poll: Taste of the pudding
I AM a gender activist but keenly interested in the build up to the December 5 governorship election in Bayelsa State, the glory of all lands and Jerusalem of the Ijaw nation. One thing that captured my attention is that the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, will stop at nothing to rig the polls if the good people of the oil-rich state fail to resist the sinister plot.
