PRESIDENT Yar’Adua, on assumption of office introduced the  Amnesty Programme for Niger Delta militants, through which oil production returned to its pre-militancy level. There has been relative  peace in the Niger Delta area since then. It is only in an environment of peace and harmony that development can take place. With an end to hostilities in Niger Delta Region,  the Federal government embarked on massive road and infrastructural development projects in the area.

DELTA State is endowed with the highest concentration of seaports in the country. They are old and new Warri ports, Forcardos, Burutu ports and the Sapele port, ceded to the Nigeria Navy. The State also has Koko port, the deepest natural harbour in West Africa. These ports made great contributions to the economy of the nation and also provided employment to a large number of Nigerians and foreigners.

Lately, a seeming hush-hush  arm of the opposition, hibernating  in a section of the media found a good sport in the Hon. Minister of Labour and Employment, Sen. Chris Ngige. 

In my first year at university, my roommate and close friend Kathy inadvertently became pregnant. She was only 18.
