By deploying Windows Server 2012, the Chief Information Officer, (CIO) of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency has said that government agencies can improve service and cuts costs through cloud computing.

JOHANNESBURG — LAST week, a Digital Dialogue Conference held in Johannesburg, South Africa, and at the end of the event, majority of the participants were of the opinion that the possibility of African nations meeting the 2015 deadline for migration to digital broadcasting was slim.

Reacting to the frequency band allocation allegation against the Nigerian telecoms regulatory authority, the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC), Director, Public Affairs of the Commission , Mr. Tony Ojobo said the commission was guided by the provisions of the Nigerian Communications Act, noting that the frequency allocated to Openskys followed due process.

The Minister of Communication Technology, Mrs. Omobola Johnson has said that the performance contract agreements signed recently with the Permanent Secretary and Heads of Departments, Agencies and Parastatals under the ministry would bring about accountability, transparency, efficiency and effectiveness in public delivery.
