ABUJA – Officials of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, NERC, last week, stormed the Citec Housing Estate located in the Mbora District of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, over allegations of illegally collecting about N46 million from residents for the purchase and installation of individual pre-paid meters in the estate.

AS if speaking the mind of many Nigerians, the President-General of Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, TUC, Comrade Peter Esele, has taken a critical appraisal of the Nigeria’s Power sector and returned a damning verdict that the operators of the industry are not only confused, but are clueless.

To make the insurance industry more responsive to the growth of the nation’s economy, the House of Representatives has set in motion plans to review federal government insurances.
