Ekiti-As President Muhammadu Buhari returned from his 50 day medical trip abroad, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, said his return has vindicated its claim that the President was not terminally ill as being portrayed in some quarters.

WITNESSES called by the third respondent, the APC in its defence in the petition filed by Pastor Ossgie Ize – Iyamu and his party, PDP challenging the declaration of Mr Godwin Obaseki of the APC as winner of the 28, September 2016 election , yesterday either expressed Ignorance or were totally confused about the conflicts in figures between the votes cast and the ballot papers used during the election.

On Wednesday, 21st December, 2016, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos and his Kebbi State counterpart, Governor Atiku Abubakar Bagudu (whom Ambode humorously referred to as “my business partner”), carried out an inspiring assignment together at the Conference Chamber of the Government House of Lagos State: they launched the “Lake Rice” brand for consumption in Lagos, nationwide and (with time) the world at large. Lagos offered to sell the 50 kilogramme of the product at the subsidised price of N12,000.

President Muhammadu Buhari has hinted that he may be going back to UK for more treatment in few weeks to come.

A university don, Dr. Kayode Oyende, has sent a strong warning to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, and all political parties to learn from the past mistakes made out of previous electoral processes in the country with a view to avoiding same in future.
