Technology Africa, organiser of the popular Titans of Tech Award has concluded plans to unveil the 2011 recipients of the award at a ceremony scheduled for Lagos on Friday, March 18, 2011.

THE Association of Information and Communications Technology women practitioners, under the aegis of Women in Technology in Nigeria, WITIN, has unfolded plans to rally support for women in the rural areas where business has no global presence.

Minister of Communication Technology, Mrs. Omobola Johnson, at the weekend, has given security as the reason why all government ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs), must switch over to .gov.ng domain. Johnson said that the domain was more secure than those on freely available internet mail services.

THERE were strong indications last week that the Nigerian telecommunication sector will start sailing on smoother waters if suggestions, ideas and inputs made by the stakeholders in the telecom sector at the just concluded national stakeholders consultative forum were fully implemented.
