The last is yet to be heard of the crisis rocking the Actors Guild of Nigeria,AGN, in recent times as the woman at the centre of the matter, Ibinabo Fiberesima during the week stormed the Court of Appeal to challenge the Federal High Court ruling on Monday, which nullified the election that brought her into office for the second time as President of the guild. Justice James Tsoho who gave the ruling, said the election was conducted against court order and ordered all parties involved to maintain the status quo.

I wanted to do something different from the regular songs that we are familiar with. A song that has a different sound. So, the idea was to do a world class song. I have this ideology that anything you want to do a song, you must ensure that it has quality. When I say “International”, it is not as if I wanted to travel out of the country to do a music. Patoranking’s confession: ‘Music saved me from becoming a criminal’

Reggae act, Patoranking dropped a bombshell during the week revealing that he would have become a criminal but for music. The reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter made this revelation while, speaking at a media parley organized by MTV Base. According to him, music saved him from becoming a criminal, ‘The slum is not a place that gives many options. There, it was either you make it the right way or the crime way but I chose music and it has worked for me’ he said.
