God is not good all the time
Nobody spoils a man’s life like Jesus. Jesus is a killer of all worldly joy. God’s attitude to the world is often lost on many. God hates the world system
Celebrating the victory of Jesus
God created the first man, Adam, in his image and likeness. He then put him in his garden of Eden to tend and take care of the garden. He gave Adam a seemingly simple injunction: “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.” (Genesis 2:16-17).
God is slow to anger and abundant in mercy
The Lord sent me on an errand. He asked me to go and talk to an old man about Christ. I can never say “no” to the Lord, but I dragged and dragged my feet. I had known the man all my life and felt it would be presumptuous for little me to preach to him. As I dilly-dallied, I was informed he was seriously ill in hospital. Then I became afraid. What if he died?
