Banks gain N740 billion from CRR reduction

The banking sector gained N740 billion as a result of the reduction of the Cash Reserve Ratio, CBN from 31 to 25 per cent by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN recently. Recall that the CRR reduction was announced by the CBN following the implementation of a Treasury Single Account, TSA that mandated all commercial banks to return all government funds in their custody to the CBN.

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA, has slammed the operators of the two grounded foreign registered aircraft with N7 million fine. The foreign registered planes were grounded by the authority last Sunday for operating the aircraft from Farnborough, London and landing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on the 10th of September, 2015 without any flight clearance from NCAA.

OLX Country Manager, Lola Masha, said the research was carried out to identify what is most important to their users when buying used cars.
