Following the termination of Nigeria Air joint venture with Ethiopian Airlines, stakeholders have said former Aviation Minister, Hadi Sirika, ignored warnings against going into the failed project.

Mixed reactions are trailing the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN’s, move to deploy gun-wielding officers of Aviation Security, AVSEC, special force across international airports in the country.

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, FAAN, on Monday, said a middle aged man who attempted to steal electrical cables inside its powerhouse was electrocuted.

“I have received several complaints about the menace of begging and extortion at our International airports by a few unscrupulous persons who give all of us a bad image.”
