Enyimba International of Aba former star, Ezenwa Otorogu has signed a three_year deal with Orlando Pirates of South Africa, same day he scored the match winner for his new club against Pretoria University in a pre_season friendly.
The 23_year_old Otorogu has impressed on trials with the Sea Robbers, although he had been labeled surplus to requirements at Club Africain of Tunisia, who at a point even demoted him to the junior team.
Otorogu had also earlier been linked to several overseas clubs including Ajax Cape Town after his goals for Enyimba in the 2008 CAF Champions League before he opted for Club Africain on a three_year deal.
The last high_profile Nigerian to feature for Pirates was midfielder Onyekachi Okonkwo (Tico), who eventually moved on to FC Zurich of Switzerland in 2007, while formwer Super Eagles coach, Shaibu Amodu has handled the club in the past.
