UGHELLI—THE Jonathan Goodluck Success Movement, JGSM, has called on Nigerians to mount pressure on President  Jonathan to contest 2011 presidential elections, as the country needed somebody like him to move the country to the next level of human and infrastructural development.

The group in a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Prince Odaro Asagba, urged President Jonathan to declare for the presidential election in 2011, adding  “Nigerians are waiting for him to declare his intention for the presidency.”

“We believe that President Jonathan will succeed if he eventually declares for the 2011 presidential election. Nigerians need Dr Jonathan as president beyond 2011.

We need somebody who has the pedigree and luck to pilot the affairs of this country. Nigerians should not see this call as a regional phenomenon.

“We, therefore, appeal to Nigerians irrespective of their tribal, religions and political affiliations to support the call for President Jonathan to contest for the 2011 presidential polls,” the statement added.
