LAGOS — The Action Congress, AC, will hold its National Convention 2010 in Lagos on August 9 to consider and approve a change of name and amendment to the party’s Constitution.
In a statement in Lagos, yesterday by its National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party also said the convention would consider and approve the amendment of the party’s manifesto as well as change of motto, emblem, flag and slogan.
It said all members of the party’s National Executive Council, members of the Board of Trustees, states chairmen and their deputies, governors and their deputies as well as lawmakers in federal/state Houses of Assembly were eligible to attend.
Others who are also eligible to attend are members of state executive councils, local government chairmen and vice chairmen, party chairmen, secretaries and treasurers in local governments as well as five elected delegates from each local government.
