WARRI—EX-MILITANTS in Delta state are set to battle themselves over pipeline surveillance employment job in Sokebolou-Yokri axis Burutu council area, even as they have disowned two of their members for alleged indolence.
In a statement by Ebikeme Abanke, Ebimo Kema, Julie Pito and Godspower Kokeme, respectively, they urged members of the public, SPDC and the state government to disregard the blatant lies published by Mr. Adowei Binebi and Believe Anumu over the SPDC surveillance contract job and described them as disgruntled elements who chose to abandone their legitimate functions as employees in the name of militancy.
While assuring that the pipelines are well secured by both the ex-militants and the community vigilante group, they called on the state government and security agencies in the state to arrest and deal decisively with anyone bent on fraustrating the hard earned peace and security in the state as their threat is based on pure selfishness and indolence.
