Peace: Folasayo’s wake up call to all generations

Peace: Folasayo’s wake up call to all generations

Harmony of Human Nature

By  JAPHET ALAKAM
The absence of peace the world over has led to many terrific acts that had affected human beings. Peace is very important because if there is violence people can die…and no one would like to loose their lives and loose their loved ones!if there is peace the world will be a much better place to live and there will be development in all areas.

But, a critical look around the world shows the opposite and that is why people are crying for peace and harmony. Many writers have come up with books that preach peace, and as part of his contribution to that, Pastor Aderemi Folasayo, a preacher and ordained minister of God, who is in the business of propagating the gospel of God came up with a book titled Harmony of Human Nature.

The  253 page book  published by Soloj Resources Ventures Ltd addresses the need for peace in our world; peace among people and particularly, peace within the heart. It emphasizes peace within and with oneself. That whether in individuals or among people; whether within the heart or across boundaries, peace is beautiful. And that its beauty becomes more striking when achieved across relationships; through joint effort.

Segmented into 10 chapters, the seasoned man of God who was led by revelation tries to look at ways by which the world can achieve peace and live in harmony.  According to him, peace won’t just come; there must be deliberate actions towards achieving it. Using the peaceful outcome of human nature working in a harmonious state as a basis for discussion on the subject matter, the author points out that every joint effort for peace speaks of healthy togetherness. The kind of togetherness that brings out the very beauty of Nature. For clarity, it draws extensively from efforts that have been expended on the subject of peace by people of all ages.

From chapter 1 tagged  Together for peace-The beauty of harmony in nature to the end, the author highlights the importance of peace. Peace is so vital in existence that people search for it in many ways, to the extent that they even do abominable things to get it, but the more they search for it, the more they realise that they are far from the peace of God.

In the subsequent chapters, the author examines the various ways to achieve peace and advises that no organism or machine can have optimal production without being at peace with itself and by extension with others. He then suggest that people should learn to live and run their lives according to the fear of God as if they continue to do it their own way, chaos will continue. He also cautions those who use religion to advance their ungodly and nefarious actions to desist as they will not get genuine peace through that.

The book also focuses on the need for the components of the human nature to relate to one another through the authority of the scriptures. Here, all the multidimensional law of relationship must be at work, the man himself, the environment he lives and others, as the desired peace could not be found unless nature’s elements are working harmoniously.

The author also talks about peace and rest. Here he points out that to achieve such state in life, man must cease to look from negative influences of external forces. Human beings must interact as it is not good to live in isolation, but they must be careful of the type of union they join.

Finally, the author enjoins his readers to  look into the word of God and follow the footsteps of those who have done everything possible to see that peace reign on earth. Though there will be challenges, but if  they stand till the end, God will reward them and give them perfect peace.

According to the author, “the book is a wake up call to  all lovers of peace in my generation, to individuals and groups of men who love the lifestyle of peace and in particular to fellow Christians who will not want to wake up one day and be forced to embrace a religion against their wish.” I recommend to all.
