Chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, Thursday, visited the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, to attend a 1-day Conference/Seminar organised by the university’s Faculty of Management Sciences and entitled: “Money Laundering and its Impact on the Nigerian Economy: The Way Forward.”

Chairman of Nigeria’s anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ibrahim Magu, Thursday, visited the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo, to attend a 1-day Conference/Seminar organised by the university’s Faculty of Management Sciences and entitled: “Money Laundering and its Impact on the Nigerian Economy: The Way Forward.”

Magu, who was hosted by the University Vice Chancellor, Prof. ‘Lanre Fagbohun, advised the LASU authorities to launch an effective strategy within the institution in the fight against the scourge, corruption.

However, present at the event were the President, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Prof. Olusegun Ajibola; Lecturer/Forensic Investigator, LASU, Dr. James Abiola; Barr./Lecturer, Faculty of Law, Dr. K. A. Olatoye; Lecturer/Forensic Investigator, UNILAG, Dr. Damilola Fagbohun and Professor of Business Finance/Account in LASU, Prof. James Kehinde.

Also present were the Deputy Vice Chancellor [Academics], Prof. A. O. K Noah and Dean, Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. ‘Banji Fajonyomi.
