The mini durbar was staged to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the ascension of the 20th Sultan, Sa’ad Abubakar.
Apart from former president Olusegun Obasanjo, host Governor Aminu Tambuwal, Governor Rochas Okorocha and Reverend Father Mathew Hassan Kukah, who mounted horses to celebrate the Sultan, there were the spectacles of the dancing horse and drumming on the back of camels too.
President Muhammadu Buhari, along with many traditional rulers from across Nigeria also attended the event.
