UDU—THE Concerned Members for Peace in Ogbe-Ijoh Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, have cried out to the Federal Government to hold the Delta State Government responsible if there was a renewed clash between Ogbe-Ijoh community and Aladja   community in Udu Local Government Area of the state.

Coordinator of the group, Friday Deinghan, yesterday, accused the state government of intentionally delaying the recommendation of the commission of inquiry it set up on March 3,  2015, to look into the land dispute between both communities.

Warning against a reoccurrence of the 1996 communal clash that claimed hundreds of lives, Deinghan lamented the state government’s reluctance to implement the report agreed upon by both communities.
