Kaduna – The Kaduna State Supporters’ Club on Wednesday called on Nigerians to come out and cheer the Super Eagles to victory in their match against the Pharaohs of Egypt.

The Super Eagles will face the Phatoahs in a double header 2017 AFCON qualifier matches.

The first-leg of the encounter is scheduled to hold at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna on March 25.

Chairman of the association, Ado- Garba Mohammed told NAN that due to the importance of the match to Nigeria’s quest to qualify for the 2017 AFCON “there is need for massive support from Nigerians’’.

Mohammed said that preparations for the Kaduna match were in top gear.

“We need support from all Nigerians to ensure Super Eagles’ victory.

“ We have received assurances from fans and supporters from Kano, Bauchi, Niger, Ekiti and Abuja.

“ We are expecting them to storm Kaduna to cheer the Eagles to victory,’’ he said.

Mohammed urged fans coming to watch the match to adorn themselves in green and white attire.

“ When we come out in our good colours, it will encourage our players to win on their home soil and also have good result for their away match.

“ This match is very crucial; we have to win so that we can have hope in winning subsequent matches toward qualification for 2017 AFCON.

“ I want to see our Super Eagles playing in the competition after missing out in the last edition,’’ he said.

The chairman urged Nigerians to pray for Eagles to ensure their victory in Kaduna and the second leg in Egypt.
