ABUJA—Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Elder Godsday Orubebe, has said that the emptiness of Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State, has made it imperative for him not to reply him again on any issue.
Reacting to Oshiomhole calling him an elevated thug and a political jobber, who is out to make noise as means of getting his next meal ticket, Orubebe, said he was through engaging in any exchange of words with Oshiomhole.
Speaking with Vanguard, Orubebe, said: “You can see the kind of governor we have in our country. My response is simple: I am through with him. I will not talk about him again. On this issue, I am through with him. I have no business with such a governor, who has no brain. I thought he was more knowledgeable on the issues on governance.
“Being a governor and somebody who is supposed to know issues of the Niger Delta unrest, so Governor Oshiomhole did not know that Godsday Orubebe was never at any time in charge of the amnesty programme for former Niger Delta militants?
“That is to tell you the emptiness of the man. I have seen his (Oshiomhole) emptiness and I have no business talking to him (Oshiomhole) again, rather, I will wait for more fundamental national issues and current affairs. But from today, I am done with him.”
