Nigeria may have lost out in her battle with England for the services of several Anglo-Nigerian youngsters, particularly, Liverpool winger, Jordon Ibe who has been formally approached by Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh with a view to playing for the Super Eagles.

England U21 coach Gareth Southgate called several Nigeria born players led by Liverpool ace Jordon Ibe to a training camp ahead of a friendly against USA U23 team on September 3 and a Euro U21 Championship qualifier against Norway four days later.

Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh has already met up with Ibe because he wishes the winger to play for Nigeria at full international level.

The other England U21 call-ups include Tottenham Hotspur wonder boy Dele Alli, who scored his EPL goal last weekend, Dominic Iorfa who has been commanding in the Wolves defence and Arsenal loanee Chuba Akpom, who has shone for English Championship team Hull City.
