Lagos—A Coalition of South West Youth Group, CSWYG, has  condemned the role played by  the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, in its attempt to extradite the senator representing Ogun East Senatorial district, Prince Buruji Kashamu to the United States of America over alleged drug-related offence.

The group, in a statement  by its Coordinator and General Secretary, Babalola Madeyedupin and Alex Omotehinse, described the role played by the anti-drug agency as unprofessional and a flagrant disregard to the laws of the land.

The group said: “We the Coalition of SouthWest Youth Group, an umbrella body of 26 leading youth organisations in the region strongly berate the NDLEA over its unprofessional and flagrant disrespect of the laws of the land.

“As a group, we followed the case as it unfolded over the time and we felt there is a need to let the NDLEA know that it had exhibited a condemnable act of double standard in respect of Senator Buruji Kashamu’s alleged drug-related case in the United States of America.’’
