After their test of intention against Warri Wolves in the Nigeria Premier League opener last weekend, Gabros of Nnewi coach, Willie Udube is optimistic that his team will collect all three points from Sunshine of Akure in today’s encounter at the Akure Township Stadium.

Udube submitted that they learnt some valuable lessons from their 2-0 win against Warri Wolves and those will come in handy against Sunshine.

“After our game against Warri Wolves we noted some mistakes which we’ve quickly corrected aimed at giving Sunshine Stars a good fight for the three points at stake on Sunday.

“I believe the players are mentally, physically and psychologically prepared to give their very best against Sunshine Stars.

“We’re looking forward to a decent result, worst case scenario, we’ll make do with a point,” said Udube to supersport.com.

Udube said his side will certainly challenge for the top prizes in the Nigerian top flight in the ongoing season.

“It’ll be a big disaster for Gabros FC to go back to the Nigeria National League (NNL) after eight-year spell.

“I believe we’ve come to stay in the Nigerian top flight and will certainly challenge for the hot prizes”.
