ASABA—The leadership of Delta North for Good Governance, DNGG, has expressed concern over what it described as rumblings within the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the senatorial aspirants in the yet to be concluded Delta North senatorial primaries in Delta State.
A party stalwart, Chief Edwin Anikangbolu who spoke on behalf of the group said there was need for the PDP hierarchy to listen to the views of the electorate on issues relating to choice of candidates.
Anikangbolu stated the DNGG, comprising people of all the communities in Delta North have endorsed one of the senatorial aspirants, Hon. Pascal Adigwe, whom they described as the only credible candidate who will bring succour to the people of the senatorial district.
He said: “It would be better for the people of the senatorial district to elect a man with experience on representation and development. Hon. Adigwe as a one-time House of Representatives member representing Aniocha/Oshimili Federal Constituency, performed creditably as can be seen with the numerous achievements he attracted to the senatorial district.”
