Students in the country have been urged to be of good characters and get closer to Allah while in schools in order to become successful in their chosen careers.
Speaking during a lecture organized by Ansar-ul-haqq society of Nigeria (ANSSON), Imam Abdul Yekeen Mahmud counseled that submission to the will of Allah and humility to all and sundry would help the younger ones to achieve success in this life an in the hereafter.
The Islamic scholar who is the Chief Missioner of the organisation said, “knowledge can be acquired easily, but the blessings of Allah may be very difficult to get. So, you must not disrespect your leaders in order to receive His blessings.” he warned.
He urged the students to shun cultism and refrain from indecency especially in dressings since they are ambassadors of Islam.
“Islam is not against any science related knowledge but parents and guardians should monitor their children’s dressing habit, especially the female ones because indecent dressing can expose them to various societal evils,” he said.
