PDP chairman is killing us in Ekiti

BY GBENGA ARIYIBI
ADO EKITI — The  crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State has deepened, as one of the Vice Chairmen of the party in the state, Mr. Olatunde Olatunde has raised an alarm that the activities of the state chairman of the party, Mr. Makanjuola Ogundipe may jeopadise the party’s chances of winning next year’s  governorship election.

The party has been engulfed in one crisis or the other since Ogundipe took over as the chairman about three years ago

Olatunde, who is the  Vice Chairman of the party in the North Senatorial District of the state said in Ado Ekiti, weekend, that Ogundipe had not deemed it fit to convene State Executive Council SEC meeting since he took over as the chairman of the party so that there won’t be opportunity to criticise him

He  accused Ogundipe of stalling all moves to hold SEC meeting since the inauguration of the present state officials, the action which he said ran contrary to the provisions  of the party’s constitution.
