ADO EKITI — An official of the World Bank initiative, Fadama Project 3, has cautioned farmers and other beneficiaries of the project against mismanaging their counterpart funds, as the best reward awaits those who make the best use of the resources at their disposals.

Speaking to some of the beneficiaries of the  project while on a visit to some of the establishments last week, the Project Manager of Fadama 3, Mr Samuel Fatoba told them to always be prudent and resource oriented in any of the projects embarked upon.

He said Fadama  usually provide a seed money which is usually about 70 per cent of the cost of the project,while the beneficiaries who are usually in  group use to provide about 30 per cent of the cost of the project.

Some of the places visited during the tour included a  fish pond with 15,000 fishes in Ado Ekiti, piggery farm at Ikere,  Victory  Palm Kernel Cake/Palm Kernel Oil Processing Industry at Usi Ekiti in Ido/Osi LGA, among others.
