Reel Views and “Behind the Scenes” are two  set of books which were presented to the public in Abuja last Tuesday by the Nigerian Film Corporation.

The new titles are a collection of reviews, selected  speeches and papers on the Nigerian and African Film industry by Afolabi Adensanya, Managing Director/Chief Executive of the apex Film Agency, (NFC).

In a release by Nigerian Film Corporation, the significance of the two Books lie not only in the depth of information they provide on the Nigerian and African Film Industries, but also furnishes a critical analysis, providing suggestions, germane to the sustainable development of the motion picture industry beyond Nigeria’s and Africa’s borders.

While “Reel Views” is a critical collection of the writings of Adesanya,  covering over two decades of his professional life and provides refreshing perspectives to Film making as an independent Film maker and Photojournalists, writer and Film scholar, “Behind the Scenes”, takes a delve into the almost eight years of Adesanya’s administration of Nigeria’s apex film agency,  as it’s Chief Executive.

Scholars and students of Nigerian cinema, according to Prof. Femi Shaka, will find this new work, “Very educative and thought provoking.
