Bauchi – Following the killing of nine persons, including Alhaji Ibrahim Jarma ex-Comptroller-General of Nigerian Prison Service in Bauchi State, Governor Isa Yuguda has assured the people of the state of government’s resolve to bring the perpetrators to justice and provide adequate security in the state.

Governor Yuguda gave the assurance, yesterday, when he paid a condolence visit to the families of Jarma in Azare, headquarters of Katagum Local Government Area of the state and Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Bauchi State Chapter.

The governor appealed to the families of the deceased to take heart and take what happened as an act of God. He prayed to God to forgive the sins of the deceased and grant them eternal life.

Yuguda advised relatives of the deceased not to seek vengeance, but to allow security agencies to do their work as they were still investigating the attacks.
