Regina George did not stop smiling even when she did not qualify for the  400 m final. She returned a time of 51.35 secs but took it in good strides.

‘’This is great. This is my first Olympics. I’m excited. I’ve conquered nervousness and things can only get better in my next Olympics”, beautiful Regina said with her trademark smiles.

‘’I’m going back to work harder. I promise that the next time I return, I’ll be on the podium to receive a medal”, she said still smiling.

She ran her first heat in the Olympics as a green-horn but discovered that the other girls were not made of steel. ‘’I was praying to be among the qualifiers but I discovered that I could do better. I kicked and finished first in the race. I have learnt well in the Olympics. I will be back with a medal”, she promised.
