Nigeria’s queen of soundtrack, Chimere Emejuobi will be among the Nollywood actors and distinguished individuals that will be hononured during the forthcoming Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Awards(NAFCA), holding on September 16, in far away North Carolina, USA.
Chimere will be honoured for her outstanding performance in the area of producing soundtracks. Breaking this cheering news to HVP, the Owerri, Imo State born singer said she is grateful to the organisers for considering her worthy of being honoured.
The songtress who is due to release her third official studio album, entitled “African Praise”, hit limelight as a first-class sound-tracker in the 1992, with the movie, “A Cry for Help.”
She had recorded sound tracks for other major movies such as Sleepwalker, Comfort My Soul, Face of Woman, Warriors Heart and Corporate Maid.
The singer, who also records soundtrack for Ghanaian movies, is expected to perform at the event, which will be graced by movie stars from all.
