A new era of premium live music hit Lagos recently, as Dulles Restaurant and Lounge, in partnership with Inspiro Productions, launched the LIJF/NAIJAZZ “Super Sessions” Jazz Residency.

The high-end cultural series promises to redefine Lagos nightlife for discerning music lovers.

Held at Dulles, 41 Bishop Oluwole Street, Victoria Island, the debut night drew an impressive mix of music enthusiasts, business executives, media personalities, and cultural patrons, all seeking world-class live music and premium hospitality.

Veteran broadcaster and music historian Mr. Benson Idonije, first manager of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and grandfather of Burna Boy, attended with his wife. His presence gave the evening added cultural weight.

Ayoola Sadare, Founder of Lagos International Jazz Festival & Nigerian Jazz Project, LIJF/NAIJAZZ, and CEO of Inspiro Productions, said the residency goes beyond concerts: “We are creating a cultural platform where great music, meaningful connections, and quality hospitality come together. The LIJF/NAIJAZZ Super Sessions is designed to give audiences a more intimate and authentic live music experience while continuing the legacy of the Lagos International Jazz Festival.”

Anticipation was high thanks to media appearances by internationally acclaimed guitarist Kunle Ayo. He did not disappoint.

The night opened with ECA and Seun Glorious setting the tone. Saxophonist Phebean “The SaxoQueen” followed with a soulful, elegant set that captivated guests. Then Kunle Ayo took over and delivered a two-hour masterclass on guitar, earning multiple standing ovations and keeping the floor dancing past midnight.
