The founder of Christ Artillery Crusaders (CAC Atamatase), Prophet Ajilore Atamatase JP, has predicted the re-election of Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, in Saturday’s governorship election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The cleric made the declaration during a ministerial engagement held on Wednesday at Atamatase Area, Oluwo, off Egbeda Toll Gate, Ibadan, Oyo State.

According to Prophet Ajilore, Governor Oyebanji is destined to secure a second term in office, which he described as an opportunity to consolidate ongoing development efforts and fulfill what he termed God’s mandate for the people of Ekiti State.

He urged the governor to remain steadfast in prayer and committed to delivering on his promises to the electorate if re-elected.

“God still wants you to continue this great assignment and I want you to hold on to Him. Continue to pray and stay focused. The race may look tough, but God says He is in charge and that He wants you to remain at the wheel of leadership in Ekiti State,” the cleric stated.

Prophet Ajilore also advised the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to be discouraged by the outcome of the election, expressing confidence that his own opportunity for leadership would come at the appropriate time in line with his political journey and experience.

The popular radio evangelist further revealed that, according to his prophecy, the election process may encounter some challenges. However, he expressed confidence that divine intervention and prayers by religious leaders would ensure a peaceful exercise and that the candidate destined to emerge victorious would prevail.

He called on residents of Ekiti State to maintain peace, shun violence and participate responsibly in the democratic process.

Prophet Ajilore, who is known among his followers for prophecies believed to have come to pass, recalled that he was among the few clerics who publicly predicted the emergence of President Bola Tinubu despite criticism at the time.

He also reiterated his belief that the Tinubu administration requires sustained prayers to achieve national progress and stability.
