The Chief Executive Officer of Dee Utensils, Dr Lois Andrew Ihwo, has called for stronger strategic thinking and creativity among entrepreneurs, saying both are essential for building resilient and successful businesses.

The Abuja-based entrepreneur said this during the Power Move Conference held in Jos, Plateau State, over the weekend, where she was one of the guest speakers. The event, which brought together entrepreneurs, leaders, and innovators focused on personal development and enterprise building.

Describing her reception as deeply humbling, she said it reflected strong ties to her roots and community pride in her achievements.

“Coming back home to Jos was a beautiful reminder that your roots never forget you. The love, honor, warmth, and overwhelming reception I received from my people left me deeply humbled and grateful. Thank you, Jos, for celebrating your own and for showing me that home is still home,” she said.

Speaking on the theme “Success Starts from your Mind,” Ihwo said the conference represented more than an event, describing it as a movement of visionaries and changemakers committed to impact.

“The atmosphere was electric, the conversations were transformative, and the testimonies have only just begun”, she added.

She also commended the convener, Sylvia Matlong Mbai, for building a platform that empowers entrepreneurs and nurtures emerging leaders.

The Dee Utensils boss also sponsored the Brand Pitch Competition, which was won by Smart Learners Education, as part of her continued efforts to support creativity and entrepreneurship development.
