Comedian Gbadamosi ThankGod Benard, popularly known as Koboko Master, has announced plans to stage his 10th-anniversary comedy concert titled “La Décima” on June 21 at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton, Abuja.

A statement cited by Vanguard noted that the event would come one year after he made headlines with a sold-out comedy show at the newly commissioned Transcorp Event Centre, an occasion widely described as one of the largest comedy gatherings ever recorded in the Federal Capital Territory.

According to organisers, Koboko Master disclosed that this year’s edition has been designed as a premium entertainment experience to mark a decade of his career on stage, adding that the show would feature some of Nigeria’s leading stand-up comedians.

He further revealed that the lineup would include comedians I Go Die, Gordons, Acapella, Edo Pikin, and US-based comedian Mister Patrick, alongside other guest entertainers expected to join the anniversary celebration.

Koboko Master was also quoted as saying that over the years he has built a reputation within Abuja’s comedy circuit for structured event delivery and strict adherence to timing, noting that his shows are known to begin promptly and end within scheduled hours, a practice he described as part of his commitment to professionalism in the industry.

He added that his comedy style is largely driven by observational humour, with content drawn from everyday Nigerian experiences, a factor he said has helped him maintain a strong connection with diverse audiences.

The organisers said the La Décima concert is being positioned as a milestone event marking ten years of consistent performance in the comedy industry, expressing confidence that it would attract a large audience following the success of last year’s edition.

They noted that with preparations ongoing and anticipation growing among fans in Abuja, the event is expected to stand out as one of the major entertainment highlights of June.

They further said that if last year’s show set a benchmark for comedy performances in the capital, this year’s edition would further consolidate Koboko Master’s presence in Nigeria’s live entertainment scene.
