DJ Kelblizz: From DJing to production, media entrepreneurship

Nigeria’s entertainment industry continues to witness DJs and independent creatives expanding beyond the turntables into music production, media projects, and broader entertainment business operations.

Miracle Sabastine Aggrey, professionally known as DJ Kelblizz, has carved a career as a DJ, record producer, and media executive. His activities gained significant visibility around 2020 with the establishment of De Thrills Music, a platform focused on music promotion, artist development, and collaborative projects across Nigeria and other African regions.

Between 2019 and 2021, DJ Kelblizz released several songs. However, after dropping “Sunrise Groove” in 2021, many of his earlier tracks were removed from digital platforms, leading to a period of reduced public music releases.

By 2022, he shifted focus to live performances, club appearances, and annual mixtape projects. In 2023, he won the Best DJ of the Year award at the KSE Awards in Rivers State.

Kelblizz later founded De Thrills Media & Tech LTD, expanding into record production and collaborations with artists such as Susky (“Angeli”), P.E.P, Serllin, Krexx NV, and Gthree Mayami.

In October 2025, he received nominations for Male DJ of the Year at The Beatz Awards and the South South Industry Night and Awards.

In February 2026, DJ Kelblizz ended a five-year music hiatus with the release of his self-produced EP, The Afrohouse Experience, and the single “Sax Culture”.

Following the launch of his brand, DJ Kelblizz shared on his social media: “I’ve always believed that being a DJ is just one part of the story. The real goal is to build something bigger – creating music, supporting artists, and building platforms that last beyond the night.”

His journey reflects a deliberate shift from live DJ performances to production, media, and long-term brand building within Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
