It was a kaleidoscope of cultural grandeur as members of Princess Ezinne Agwu (PEA) foundation Group staged a warm cultural reception for the founder and President, Dr. Princess Ezinne Agwu, upon her arrival in Lagos for the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) held weekend.

The welcome ceremony, organized by the group on Friday May 8, 2026, at the Lagos Airport terminal, which formed an entourage to Eko Hotels venue of AMVCA event, featured traditional music, dance, and other performances, to the admiration of travellers and visitors.

The organisers states that the event reflected the close relationship between Dr. Agwu and the growing PEA Group community, whose members described the reception as a gesture of appreciation for her leadership, humanitarian efforts, and expanding role in Nigeria’s media and entertainment space.

According to the group, the airport reception formed part of Dr. Agwu’s AMVCA weekend gigs, that showcased her well curated fashion sense and red carpet appearance, including image branding and social engagements that created fascinating social media buzz.

The group also stated that the reception in addition, was intended to celebrate her increasing visibility and accomplishments in the area of her works across law, philanthropy, and film.
