Members of Ede Ruling House, Edegbene community under Seimbiri Kingdom in Burutu Local Government of Delta State, have re-affirmed support for Mr. Joseph Boson as consensus choice to ascend the throne of Ebenanaowei of Seimbiri Kingdom.

The leaders, elders, youths and women of Ede Ruling House made the affirmation at Ede Squire Edegbene community as they debunked an online publication giving false narratives about geneological right of Mr. Boson to the unsuspecting public and members of Seimbiri kinship Screening committee.

To further make bold their position about Mr. Boson, they held that he has unreserved right to aspire for the stool of Ebenanaowei of Seimbiri Kingdom.

They stated without reservation, Mr. Boson is a great grandchild of Ede and requested the Council of Chiefs of Seimbiri Kingdom and the Central Screening Communitie to continue in its good work and bring it to successful completion.

Notable sons of Ede, who appended their signature during the endorsement include Mr. Enana Kimaki, Mr. Lucky Eyiemiene, Mr. Petekedoumene Newstly, Mr. Yinkere Newstly.

Others were, Mr. Beer Owounbiri, Mr. Nicholas Sasuode and Mr. Felix Sunday.

Nicholas Sasuode, speaking during the gathering noted that Boson is a direct descendants of Ede. Drawing geneology tree, he stated that amongst the six wives of Ede, the founder of Edegbene community, Boson is the son of Madam Fanti, who is the daughter of Ayome(female), Ayome is daughter of Wanzou and Wanzou is the daughter of Okpotie and Okpotie is the son first son of Ede who founded Edegbene community that make up the Seimbiri Kingdom.

Sasuode added, “Once one is a descendants of Ede either of a male or female parentage under the Ede Ruling House, and as an adult male, he has an inalienable right to ascend to the throne of Ebenanaowei of Seimbiri Kingdom.”

Earlier, Boson in his brief speach charged members of the kinship screening committee to do the needful, embark on background check, trace the ancestral roots of all contendants and urged them to disregard false narratives concerning his eligibility.
