The battle lines for 2027 are already being drawn and Oredo Local Government Area has boldly stepped forward to lead the charge.

Hon. Omosigho Uyi Frank, Member representing Oredo East Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, has declared that Oredo will produce the highest number of votes in Edo State in fulfilment of Governor Monday Okpebholo’s promise to deliver 2.5 million votes for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The lawmaker made this declaration on Saturday, during the inspection of a strategic mobilization facility along Airport Road, a project designed to serve as a coordination hub for the Renewed Hope Ambassadors ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The inspection was led by the Edo South Senatorial Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, Comrade Kelly Okungbowa Ebostone, while the Special Adviser to Governor Monday Okpebholo on Media Projects, Godswill Inegbe, represented the State Coordinator of the group, Ambassador Sylvester Aigboboh.

Also present were the Commissioner for Youths, Hon. Charity Amayaevbo; the promoter of Edo: Nigeria’s Construction Site, Mr. John Mayaki; and other key political stakeholders committed to consolidating the gains of the current administration.

Speaking with conviction, Hon. Omosigho said the governor’s promise was not mere rhetoric but a realistic target backed by aggressive grassroots mobilization, strategic coordination, and growing public confidence in governance.

His words, “The promise of 2.5 million votes is achievable. The structure is being built. The mobilization is ongoing. And I can confidently say that Oredo will top the chart in delivering the highest votes for President Tinubu,” he stated.

He stressed that the visible achievements of Governor Monday Okpebholo across critical sectors have strengthened the party’s acceptance at the grassroots, making the task ahead one of consolidation rather than persuasion.

According to him, the synergy between political leaders, youth mobilizers, community stakeholders, and party faithful is already reshaping the political landscape in Edo State.

According to Hon. Omosigho, “As we move towards 2027, Oredo is not just participating, we are leading. We understand the assignment, and we are prepared to work tirelessly to ensure President Tinubu’s re-election,” he added.

For Ambassador Comrade Kelly Okungbowa, “we are not leaving anything to chances. We are in a hurry to deliver for the president and so, we have to start the process immediately.

“We want to commence early mobilization and that signals a coordinated and determined approach by Edo APC stakeholders to position the state as a stronghold of renewed hope ahead of the next general election where our hardworking governor promised the president 2.5 million votes. We will achieve this and surpass it”, he assured.
