Nigerian writer, Mrs Eniola Sarah has released a new book titled Faces of Trial, offering what she describes as faith-based guidance to Nigerians facing socio-economic and personal challenges.

The 206-page publication, released in 2025, is divided into three sections and 16 chapters. Drawing largely from her personal experiences, the author examines themes of perseverance, resilience and unwavering trust in God as pathways to overcoming adversity.

According to Eniola, the book was inspired by encounters with disappointment, wrongful judgment and life challenges. She said it is designed to identify with victims of injustice and emotional trauma, while providing reassurance and practical lessons rooted in biblical principles.

“Despite life’s battles, God has special friends and children, and His love and care remain constant both in and beyond moments of trial,” she said.

Faces of Trial explores issues such as false accusations, betrayal and reputational damage, presenting them as experiences not uncommon among individuals striving to live with integrity.

The author draws parallels between human suffering and the trial of Jesus Christ, arguing that unjust suffering can serve a divine purpose.

The book emphasises what it describes as the spiritual value of trials, teaching readers how to remain steadfast even in moments of rejection, loneliness and grief.

It also encourages believers to see difficult seasons as opportunities for spiritual growth and self-discovery.

Citing biblical references including Luke 1:37 and 1 Peter 5:10, Eniola maintains that suffering can lead to restoration and strengthening.

She expressed hope that the message of resilience and faith outlined in the book would inspire personal renewal and contribute to addressing broader national challenges.
