Candace Ebhomielen, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of BlueDutch Property, has been honoured with the ELOY Award for Excellence in Real Estate and Construction at the 2025 ELOY Awards held on 28 November 2025 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos, Nigeria. The award recognises her leadership, impact, and contribution to Nigeria’s property development sector.

The recognition comes from the ELOY Awards, a platform widely recognised as a celebration of purpose, power, and unapologetic excellence among women shaping industries and driving meaningful change. Candace’s recognition reflects nearly two decades of experience and her role in transforming BlueDutch Property from a brokerage firm into a full development and site and service organisation focused on housing delivery and community focused infrastructure.

Speaking on the honour, Candace described the award as a validation of values rather than a personal milestone. “The ELOY Awards stand for purpose and excellence, and that aligns deeply with how we approach development. This recognition affirms our belief that real estate should improve lives and create long term value for families and communities,” she said.
Under her leadership, BlueDutch Property has delivered over twenty residential developments across Lagos, Ogun, and Edo States. The company has also maintained a ninety five percent physical allocation success rate with zero litigation, a record that underscores its emphasis on transparency, documentation, and ethical practice within a complex and highly competitive market.

Beyond physical housing delivery, BlueDutch Property has prioritised community building through initiatives such as estate security systems, internal road construction, inter house sports sponsorships, and charity driven programmes. According to Candace, these efforts are intentional and form the foundation of sustainable development. “Housing is not complete without a sense of belonging. When people feel safe, supported, and connected, communities thrive and investments retain their value,” she said.

Reflecting on leadership and growth, Candace emphasised discipline and integrity as essential pillars for success. “Sustainable real estate requires patience and honesty. We have chosen to grow responsibly, even when it is slower, because trust is the currency of this industry and it must be protected,” she said.

The ELOY Awards are regarded as one of Nigeria’s most influential platforms celebrating women who lead with clarity, courage, and impact across business, leadership, and innovation. Candace’s win in the Real Estate and Construction category reinforces her position as a strategic entrepreneur contributing to the evolution of Nigeria’s property landscape.
Looking ahead, Candace described the recognition as a call to deeper responsibility. “Awards like this challenge us to do more. At BlueDutch Property, our focus remains on expanding access to quality housing, strengthening communities, and building with intention, integrity, and purpose,” she said.

As BlueDutch Property continues to scale its developments and community programmes across Nigeria, Candace Ebhomielen remains guided by a vision rooted in service and excellence, building not just estates, but enduring communities.
