The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated an ARISE Television correspondent, Dr. Friday Olokor, on the successful completion of his Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree at the University of Jos (UNIJOS).

In a congratulatory letter, the President of NIPR, Dr. Ike Neliaku, described Olokor’s academic attainment as a testament to his dedication, resilience and commitment to intellectual excellence.

Neliaku noted that Olokor’s journey from the newsroom to the academic environment reflects uncommon focus and scholarly rigour.

“This reflects the depth of your scholarship and your commitment to intellectual rigour,” he stated.

The institute acknowledged Olokor’s contributions to journalism and scholarship, describing the achievement as a significant milestone in his professional career.

The letter, addressed to Olokor, read in part:
