GiNN to host Landmark 5.0 edition as “The Nigeria Dream” takes centre stage

Gen Z Involvement in a New Nigeria (GiNN) has announced plans to host the fifth edition of its flagship youth engagement platform, GiNN 5.0, themed “The Nigeria Dream,” scheduled to hold on May 30, 2026.

Organisers describe the upcoming edition as the most ambitious and consequential since the initiative began.

GiNN 5.0 is expected to convene thousands of young Nigerians from across the country, alongside business leaders, policymakers, creatives, and social change advocates, for a high-level national conversation focused on youth leadership, civic responsibility, and the future of Nigeria.

The event comes at a time when rising economic and social pressures have deepened youth disengagement, making the theme particularly timely.

According to the organisers, The Nigeria Dream is designed to challenge prevailing narratives of hopelessness by reshaping the mindset of Nigerian youth and restoring confidence in their ability to lead, innovate, and influence governance and nation-building. The programme will feature keynote addresses, leadership conversations, and practical engagement sessions aimed at positioning young Nigerians as active contributors to national development rather than passive observers.

At the centre of the GiNN movement is its founder, Agomeze Saint Chukwuemeka, a youth development advocate who has consistently called for increased youth participation in leadership and decision-making processes.

Through GiNN, Agomeze Saint has advanced a clear message that Nigeria’s transformation depends largely on young people taking ownership of the country’s systems and future.

Speaking on the vision behind GiNN 5.0, Agomeze Saint said the platform was created to move young Nigerians beyond criticism into responsibility. “Nigeria will not change by observation alone. Young people must be willing to lead, to serve, and to actively engage with the systems that shape our society.

“Since its launch, GiNN has evolved from a small youth gathering into a nationally recognised platform, drawing thousands of participants and fostering a growing community of young Nigerians committed to leadership, civic engagement, and social impact. The fifth edition is expected to further consolidate GiNN’s position as one of the country’s leading youth-focused movements”, he said.

Organisers are optimistic that GiNN 5.0 will place strong emphasis on leadership consciousness, self-belief, and national participation, while providing young people with access to role models who are already making measurable impact within Nigeria and beyond.

As Nigeria continues to navigate complex socio-economic challenges, GiNN 5.0 seeks to reinforce the idea that the nation’s future will be shaped not by chance, but by intentional leadership—particularly from its youth population.

With “The Nigeria Dream,” GiNN 5.0 aims to reignite hope, inspire action, and remind young Nigerians that the responsibility for building a functional and prosperous nation ultimately rests in their hands.
