The wedding bell is still ringing. After the likes of Stephanie Okereke, Chidi Mokeme, Uche Jombo, and  2Face Idibia walked down the aisle in a quick succession, it is the turn of  Patience Ozokwo’s son, Nduka Morrison Ozokwo and Funke Akindele to follow suit.

The former’s wedding to his fiancée holds today, in the eastern part of the country, while the latter’s own comes up also today at All seasons Plaza, Ikeja, Lagos.

Nduka’s traditional marriage ceremony was held yesterday, the white wedding is slated for today amidst pomp and pageantry.

Patience Ozokwo a.k.a Mama Gee reportedly  spent most of her time on Wednesday tweeting at family members, friends and colleagues in preparation for the big day. Her tweet read; “I can’t wait. The time is here and yet seems far.Your prayers is the best wedding gift.”

Meanwhile, HVP gathered that Funke’s  Islamic  wedding rite (Nikkai) to her socialite and politician fiancé Kenny Almaroof was observed on Thursday, at her Ikeja residence. The event was said to have been  attended by few family members and close friends.

Sources close to the actress said Funke’s wedding will gulp over N25 million. For instance, Funke is said to have hired the All Seasons Plaza venue for N2 million, while the musicians billed to perform at the ceremony are to smile home with the huge sum of N8 million. Already, the Astoria caterers is said to have pocketed N10 million while the company  that will supply the drinks has been paid N3 million.
