Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality community converged on Kyma Beach over the weekend for the Flyzone End-of-Year All-White Party, an event industry stakeholders say reflects the growing power of collaboration in the country’s travel ecosystem.
The beachfront celebration drew leading brands including Etravels and Tour, DeeConcept Travel & Tours, BlackBoyAfrika, and organisers of the Amala & Palmwine Festival — a united presence that observers described as a strong signal of renewed partnership across the sector.
Industry players noted that the event, though festive, also underscored the strategic value of collective action in promoting destinations, strengthening tourism culture, and developing experience-driven events in Nigeria.
“These organisations bring diverse strengths — from destination management and cultural showcases to experiential events and tourism innovation,” said Dr. Uche Emmanuel Chinonso, Founder of Etravels and Tour. “When these strengths align behind a shared vision, the entire tourism sector moves forward.”
Chinonso added that Nigeria’s tourism industry would benefit significantly from sustained cooperation among operators, describing collaboration as a more effective driver of growth than competition.
“Our sector can only reach its full potential when we embrace genuine partnerships over politics,” he said. “If we focus on innovation, unity, and people, Nigeria will emerge as a vibrant tourism destination with global appeal.”
Stakeholders at the event echoed similar sentiments, noting that Flyzone’s gathering demonstrates how joint efforts can enhance local tourism appeal, boost investment prospects, and reshape Nigeria’s image as a destination for curated travel experiences.
