A 24-year-old beauty entrepreneur, Pearl Ubani, has emerged as the overall winner of the 10th season of Betano The Next Titan Nigeria, marking a major milestone in the show’s decade-long mission to nurture young entrepreneurs and stimulate innovation among Nigerian youths.
The grand finale, held in Lagos, celebrated both Ubani’s outstanding business idea and the sustained partnership between The Next Titan Nigeria and Betano, one of the world’s leading online betting and gaming brands, which has sponsored the entrepreneurial reality show for the past two seasons.
Ubani’s victory earned her a grand prize of N20 million in cash and other business support packages, positioning her among Nigeria’s growing crop of youth-led business leaders transforming their communities through innovation.
Speaking after her win, an emotional Ubani said the competition had changed her life and perspective on entrepreneurship.
“This platform has taught me resilience and strategic thinking. I’m grateful to The Next Titan and Betano for believing in young Nigerians and investing in our dreams,” she said.
Other finalists were also rewarded with various cash prizes and mentorship opportunities. Over the years, The Next Titan has become a launchpad for over 500 young entrepreneurs, helping them turn ideas into viable businesses through mentorship, exposure, and funding.
In his remarks, Mide Kunle-Akinlaja, the Executive Producer of The Next Titan, said the show continues to be a beacon of hope for young Nigerians with entrepreneurial aspirations. “For 10 years, The Next Titan has remained committed to solving Nigeria’s unemployment problem by empowering young minds to become job creators rather than job seekers. Betano’s partnership has been instrumental in scaling this vision,” he noted.
Also speaking, Betano Nigeria’s Country Manager, Alexandre Fonseca, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to youth development and national growth.
“We are proud to partner with a platform that aligns with our corporate mission of supporting innovation, resilience, and community impact. Nigeria’s young people are the future, and we are glad to be part of their success story,” Fonseca said.
Over the past decade, The Next Titan has awarded more than N400 million in seed funding to winners and participants, creating ripple effects across Nigeria’s entrepreneurship landscape.
As the show celebrated its 10th anniversary, organisers reiterated their resolve to keep empowering young Nigerians with tools, knowledge, and funding to thrive in a challenging economy.
“Our goal remains to find and nurture the next generation of business leaders who will redefine Nigeria’s economic future,” Kunle-Akinlaja added.
Ubani’s victory, observers say, reinforces the growing role of youth entrepreneurship as a sustainable solution to Nigeria’s unemployment challenge.
