The Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security and Safety Affairs (CONYSSA), in partnership with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, held its annual summit on May 8, 2025, at the Army Resource Centre, FCT Abuja.

Themed “Uniting Nigerian Youth in the Fight Against Social Vices,” the summit focused on empowering young Nigerians to take active roles in combating societal ills such as cultism, internet fraud, drug abuse, child trafficking, and economic sabotage.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of the “CONYSSA Ambassador of Peace 2025” award to Engr. Dr. Kehinde Fafiyebi, a trained engineer and founder of FAFKAY Integrated Services Company (FISC). The award recognized his significant contributions to youth empowerment, national development, and the promotion of peace and safety across Nigeria.

In a heartfelt message delivered on his behalf, Dr. Fafiyebi expressed deep appreciation for the recognition:

“I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Coalition of Nigerian Youths on Security & Safety Affairs (CONYSSA) and the Federal Ministry of Youth Development for this recognition. Being acknowledged among fellow nation-builders and stakeholders committed to combating social vices is a moment of pride and reflection for me.”

He further noted that the award is not just a personal achievement but a collective call to action:

“This award symbolizes a shared responsibility. Our youth are not the problem—they are the solution. But they need vision, values, and viable opportunities.”

Dr. Fafiyebi dedicated the honor to all young Nigerians striving to live purposefully despite challenges, as well as to organizations working tirelessly to support and uplift the nation’s youth.
