The Christ the Redeemer’s School Management (CRSM), the formal educational agency of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is set to hold this year’s Redeemer’s Day on Friday and Saturday, March 14 & 15.

According to a statement made available to Vanguard Newspaper, the annual event will feature sporting activities, cultural displays, science exhibitions, literary performances, march pasts, and praise parades in celebration of God’s goodness and faithfulness upon RCCG schools.

Pastor Foluke Adeboye, wife of the General Overseer of RCCG and overseer of the church’s formal educational arm, announced that the theme for this year’s edition is “GREATER HEIGHTS.”

The statement further noted:

“This year’s edition, themed GREATER HEIGHTS, will take place across all 59 Regions of the church in Nigeria. Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye confirmed that all arrangements have been finalized, with designated representatives from CRSM monitoring the event in each region.”

The Redeemer’s Day was first held 25 years ago in what is now the Redemption City of God (formerly Redemption Camp), with over 100 schools in attendance. Due to the rapid growth of RCCG schools, the event was decentralized about 10 years ago and is now celebrated across various regions, with participation from approximately 400 schools.

The first-ever Redeemer’s Day was held in 2000 at the Redemption Camp, marking the beginning of a tradition that continues to inspire and uplift generations.
