The newly elected President of Aiyedoto farm settlement in Ojo, Lagos, Mr Foluso Adams, has said his immediate plans include lifting the fortunes of farmers with advanced technology solutions.

Adams said that since the introduction of innovations like cage rearing system, automatic drinking system for laying birds and gas brooding system, poultry farmers have increased their yield and also added handsomely to the food basket of the nation.

He said his administration will introduce technologies such as black soldier flies, BSF as protein subtitles and would encourage members of the farm community to install cameras in their farms to monitor efficiency and check theft.

He also promised to modify poultry waste management, check water pollution to ensure farmers get return on their investments.

For him, the new administration will invest on capacity building, financial and management trainings to help farmers understand how to manage their businesses
