Nwankwo Stephen, popularly known as DJ Skipit is a multifaceted personality making waves in Enugu State and beyond. As a DJ, songwriter, entertainer, entrepreneur, cultural ambassador, and philanthropist, he embodies the true meaning of talent and dedication. 

DJ Skipit speaking on his philosophy said, “I believe nothing is impossible as long as you are determined to achieve a particular fit. This contributed to the inclusion of both disc jockey and music making in my craft”.

As a certified DJ, Skipit has made a name for himself in the entertainment sphere as a radio DJ and a household name, working with prominent radio stations and shows since the year 2016.

In 2023, he decided to take his career further by breaking into the music industry in a new fashion by becoming a musician himself and releasing his debut single titled ‘No Snapchat’, featuring Aguero Banks.

His debut, ‘Never Settle for Less’ EP, featuring the hit single “Ije Uwa’ (Journey of life), is still available on all digital platforms, showcasing his musical prowess.

When he dropped Snapchat in 2023, featuring Aguero Banks, the Afrobeat hit became an instant favourite, celebrated for its infectious rhythm and innovative sound. The track is available on major streaming platforms like Naijaloaded, LegacyviBes, and Spotify. Never Settle For Less EP followed in 2024.

This groundbreaking EP exemplifies DJ Skipit’s mastery of genre fusion, blending Amapiano, Afrobeat, and Hip-Hop into an unforgettable listening experience. The project is highlighted for its bold creativity and is available on PUSH.fm, Youtube, and other platforms.

In August 2024, he released Ije Uwa. This collaboration with Hugo P and Aguero Banks showcases DJ Skipit’s ability to craft culturally resonant music with a global appeal. Fans can stream this Afrobeat masterpiece on platforms such as LegacyviBes and PUSH.fm.

‘Defender’, released on November 27, 2024, features collaborations with Jaywillz and DennyB. Promising an energetic and soulful sound, this highly anticipated track will be available on all major streaming services, Such as Azuri, Youtube and LegacyviBes.
